A$AP Rocky celebrated his second Father’s Day with Rihanna and their kid RZA, posting about the occasion on Instagram. He has made fatherhood look pretty swell.
“EVERYDAY FATHER’S DAY,” the New York rapper posted on Instagram on Sunday (June 18), accompanied with a carousel of images that featured a video of him abrasively brushing his teeth in a pink bonnet and a candid image of him resting next to his kid, RZA. In a another video, Rocky can also be seen puffing on a joint as a visibly pregnant Rihanna questions her choice of clothing.
Ri Ri added, “This is so sad,” before turning towards the camera to show off her stomach.
Rocky urged the audience to “poke it out,” saying, “We matching too.”
“The Mayers brothers completely captured my heart! Happy Father’s Day, nerd,” the Fenty fashion mogul chimed in.
Since the couple gave birth to RZA in May of last year, Rocky has appeared to adapt to parenthood pretty smoothly. Rihanna talked openly about her relationship with the A$AP Mob boss in an interview with British Vogue for her cover story back in February.
We have a baby together, closest buddies,” Rih remarked. “We must be on the same page, but that has sort of always been the case in our relationship. When you have a baby, everything changes, but I wouldn’t say it has done anything other than brought us closer.
When they’re together, I’m simply watching from the sidelines,” she continued, referring to Rocky’s transition to parenthood. “I’m literally the girl waiting for her time to enter the boys club. He is totally fixated on his father. ‘Didn’t I give birth to you,’ I ask. What is happening?
“It seems clear that they are connected. He lights up the moment Rocky makes eye contact with him. Everything they say about sons and mothers is untrue. Fathers and sons are insane. I came to understand that your father is the one who can actually validate you as a boy.
Rocky reportedly ripped into some boisterous clubgoers during a well-deserved night out in May and is fiercely protective of his baby mother.
It seems that things got a little heated when RiRi’s supporters started fighting, and that’s when the Harlem rapper intervened to keep his beautiful lady safe.
“You heard, y’all n-ggas act like gentlemen right now?” In the video, Rocky can be heard telling the clubgoers. I’ve brought my lady in here! You guys need to stop that shit, man! Don’t be in the area where all that crap is happening. Put a stop to that stuff. When you are in our presence, you all behave like gentlemen.
