A$AP Rocky has been having a packed 2025. Alongside starring in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest and Mary Bronstein’s psychological drama If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, he’s been preparing his upcoming fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb, and recently launched a new collaboration with Puma.
Still, none of those accomplishments top his most personal project of the year — his newborn daughter with longtime partner Rihanna. In a new interview with Complex, Rocky, 37, reflected on the busy year and shared what means most to him. “My daughter. That’s my favorite thing I created this year. Shout out to Rocki Irish, man,” he said, referring to the baby they welcomed on September 13.
The couple’s new addition joins their three-year-old son RZA and two-year-old Riot Rose. Before Rocki’s birth, Rocky had expressed his hope for a girl. “I hope it’s a girl. I really do,” he told Elle earlier this year. “This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”
Rocky also spoke with Billboard in August about Don’t Be Dumb, describing it as the strongest album of his career. The long-awaited project, which was delayed from its original August 30 release date, is set to include collaborations with Tyler, The Creator and production contributions from Pharrell Williams, Mike Dean, Hitkidd, Madlib, and Metro Boomin.
