The release of Rocky’s first studio album, Long.Live.A$AP, is being commemorated. And, A$AP has released “Angels Pt. 2,” a remix of the original “Angels” music video.
The video, which was directed by AWGE and Sam Lecca, features a youthful Rocky and his team, as well as never-before-seen footage and tributes to the late A$AP Yams, who is depicted with a halo above his head.“TODAY MARKS THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOR MY 1ST COMMERCIAL ALBUM,” Flacko wrote on Twitter. “I WANT 2 TAKE A MOMENT TO REFLECT & THINK ABOUT THE PPL I MISS & THE TIMES WE HAD. On January 15, 2013, Long.Live.A$AP. was released, and it included verses from guest artists including Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, Drake, Big K.R.I.T., Santigold, Overdoz, Yelawolf, Florence Welch, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, Joey Badass, Gunplay, and A$AP Ferg. It also featured some of Rocky’s biggest singles, including “F*ckin Problems,” “Wild for the night”
It later debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has subsequently been awarded a 2x platinum certification.
