A$AP Rocky has shared some information about his next album along with a new song titled “Same Problems?”
The self-produced song, which also has background vocals from Lil Yachty and Miguel, finds the A$AP Mob boss in a wistful mood as he laments the apparently continuous deaths in Hip Hop.
“N-ggas dyin’ every other night / N-ggas cryin’, that’s a part of life / Lyin’ to my face, tryna say that it’s all good / No, I’m not alright,” he softly raps over the stripped-down production before asking: “How many problems get solved if we don’t get involved?”
The song debuted in December during Rocky’s Amazon Music performance, which also included photographs of deceased rappers 2Pac, Biggie, Nipsey Hussle, Pop Smoke, Mac Miller, and others flashing on a large stage screen behind him.
Pretty Flacko revealed the origins of “Same Problems?” in a rare interview with Apple Songs’s Zane Lowe, confessing he felt bad for instigating violence through his music.
