A$AP Rocky sparked speculation about his relationship with Rihanna in a recent cover story with Perfect magazine. When asked about what brings him the greatest happiness, the rapper, 37, described being “a father and a partner and a loving husband” as what makes him “really, really happy.” The couple shares three young children, though neither has publicly confirmed their marital status.
Rocky emphasized the importance of balancing creativity and family life. “That’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan,” he said. He also noted the interview had to be rescheduled because he was preparing for one of his children’s birthday parties.
This is not the first time Rocky has hinted at a possible marriage. In a September interview with Elle, he teased, “How you know I’m not already a husband?” while stopping short of confirming it. In June, during a DJ set in Paris, he dedicated his 2022 song “D.M.B.” to his “beautiful wife,” and the music video for the track ends with a scene suggesting a wedding with Rihanna.
Beyond relationship talk, Rocky reflected on his recent creative projects. After starring in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest and Mary Bronstein’s If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, and working on his fourth studio album, he said his newborn daughter, Rocki Irish, born September 13, is his favorite creation this year. She joins their older children, three-year-old son RZA and two-year-old Riot Rose.
