Conway The Machine has hinted that Nas might appear on his future album, which he is currently working on diligently.
The Buffalo rapper posted a photo of the two of them in front of an illuminated Hennessy sign on Instagram on November 9 to discuss the potential collaboration.
“I’m havin @nas on this album,” Conway wrote. “It was written…”
It’s unclear if the cooperation has already taken place or if Conway is simply sending out good vibes in the hopes that it will.
Nas gave Conway The Machine his roses in 2020 when the former called in to speak to the latter during an appearance on Drink Champs, despite the fact that the two haven’t collaborated on a single.
Although it was difficult to understand what Nas was saying in the Drink Champs video, he could be seen pointing and shaking his head in agreement as he spoke. Conway then thanked Nas.
“I’m the one new n-gga that the OGs feel comfortable passing the torch to… ME! Salute king @nas! Trust me, I heard u loud and clear general! s/o my n-gga @therealnoreaga,”
Conway is attached to the exchange on Instagram.
Conway previously collaborated with Kanye West and Dr. Dre in the studio back in August, which he displayed on Instagram with the caption: “Spooky! ”
Regarding new music, Nas is getting ready to deliver Friday’s Kings Disease III alongside Hit-Boy (November 11). The 17-song tape’s tracklist was announced by the Grammy-winning pair on Wednesday.
For the cassette What Has Been Blessed Cannot Be Cursed, Conway collaborated with Big Ghost Ltd. earlier this year. In February, he also released his solo album God Don’t Make Mistakes, which featured cameos from Jill Scott, Westside Gunn, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, T.I., Beanie Sigel, and others.
Conway’s new works won’t be on tour anytime soon, which is unfortunate. The 40-year-old rapper’s I’ll Tell You Later Tour, which was scheduled to launch on September 6 in Seattle, Washington, was completely postponed over the course of the summer.
