Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, And Others Congratulate Lebron James On New Nba Scoring Record

Among the numerous well-known figures who have congratulated LeBron James on breaking the NBA scoring record are JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake.

King James broke Kareem Abdul-nearly Jabbar’s 40-year record to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer on Tuesday night (February 7), further cementing his position in basketball history.

The 38-year-old scored 38 points in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 133–130 home defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder, pushing his total to 38,390; he now has three more than The Captain.

James only needed 36 points to reach the milestone, and he did so by making a fadeaway jump shot at the end of the third quarter, a play that basketball fans have seen many times over the course of his 20-season career.

While Abdul-Jabbar and the rest of the sold-out Crypto.com Arena crowd stood and cheered, an emotional LeBron raised both arms in happiness. Later, he made a brief remark to mark the event at center court.
