Juice Wrld's Estate Quietly Sells Of The Majority Of His Catalog In A Deal

In a nine-figure agreement that was secretly brokered in the first months of 2022, Juice WRLD’s estate is said to have sold off the majority of the late rapper’s discography.

According to Billboard, the late Chicago rapper’s publishing and the rights to 90% of the revenue from his master recordings are currently owned by independent record company and publisher Opus Music Group.

The contract contained hundreds of unreleased tracks in addition to the vast amount of Juice WRLD music that has already been made available to fans, including two albums during his lifetime, two albums following his death, a collaboration mixtape project with Future, a solo mixtape, and nine EPs.

The masters for Juice WRLD were kept by the rapper’s record labels, Interscope Records and Lil Bibby’s Grade A Productions.

Numerous Hip Hop artists, both young and old, have reached similar agreements over the previous few months, including Future and Iggy Azalea, who each received eight-figure contracts in exchange for control of their publishing rights in 2022.
