BET has revealed the first group of artists scheduled to perform at the BET Experience 2025 concert series, which will take place in Los Angeles from June 5 to June 8. This multiday series will lead into the annual BET Awards, set for June 9. The celebration will include live shows, a fan festival, and community-focused programming.
The concert events, co-produced with Live Nation Urban, begin June 5 with reggae artist Buju Banton performing at the Hollywood Palladium. On June 8, The Roots will headline the Hollywood Bowl with a “Class of ‘95” edition of their Roots Picnic. Joining them will be Lil Kim, Redman & Method Man, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Raekwon, Goodie Mob, E-40, DJ Quik, and Havoc.
Also on June 8, BET R&B Night will take place at the YouTube Theater. The lineup includes Jagged Edge, Donell Jones, and Eric Bellinger, along with a special set curated by R&B ONLY featuring Tiára Monique and JABARI.
In addition to the concerts, the BETX FanFest will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 7 and 8. The free event will include interactive experiences and community activities. BET Experience is also partnering with Waymaker’s Men’s Summit, a two-day event at The Beehive by SoLa Impact on June 5 and 6 that focuses on discussions and networking for men of color.
Pre-sale tickets for BET R&B Night are available starting April 10. Tickets for Buju Banton’s performance and The Roots Picnic are also on sale. More performers and programming details will be announced in the coming weeks.
