Ye Calls His Next Album ‘Antisemitic Sound’ Amid Controversy.

Ye (formerly Kanye West) has described the sound of his next album in a way that continues his pattern of antisemitic remarks. On Thursday (March 6), he posted on X, “This next album got that antisemitic sound. My new sound called antisemitic.” It is unclear whether this statement is related to the rollout of his previously teased Bully album.

Ye has faced backlash for past comments praising Hitler and promoting antisemitic views, though he later attempted to walk back his statements. On the same day as his album announcement, he referenced his 2004 track “We Don’t Care” in another X post, writing, “Jokes on you, I’m still alive.”

In a February interview with Justin LaBoy, Ye revealed he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), stating that his wife encouraged him to seek evaluation. Additionally, a former employee alleged to CNN that Ye once wanted to name his 2018 album after Hitler and frequently praised the Nazi leader’s rise to power.

Ye also made headlines this week for his ongoing dynamic with Drake, expressing admiration for the rapper. In an X post, he wrote, “I love Drake… I need you to speak at me [sic] funeral.” Whether Bully will still be released remains uncertain.
