A classic JAY-Z sample appears in a new song by Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne.
Juelz released a sneak peek of his upcoming collaboration with Weezy on Instagram on Thursday (January 19), which features a sample of Hov’s “Coming of Age (Da Sequel)” from 1998’s Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life.
“Ayo, the cocaine whiter, the rope chain brighter,” the Young Money leader can be heard rapping in the brief snippet of his verse.
“We In Motion… The Album OTW… Da Baby’s In Da Cut,” Juelz wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
Following Juelz Santana’s announcement in December that he will release a new album with Gangsta Grillz chief DJ Drama, the thrilling news of a Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne reunion has surfaced.
On Christmas Day, the Harlem native unveiled a new album titled We In Motion, which is scheduled to drop in the first quarter of 2023.
It also follows the discovery of Juelz and Weezy in the studio together, possibly working on the latter’s next album Tha Carter 6.
