Black Woman Opens Certified Training Center in Georgia, Offering CPR, Fire Safety, and Defensive Driving Courses.

Bobbie Lee, an entrepreneur and mother from Augusta, Georgia, has founded AGC (All God’s Children), a certified training center that provides courses in CPR, fire safety, defensive driving, and childcare training. Her transition from operating a small childcare center to running a state-approved training business highlights her focus on education, safety, and community development.

Lee, a military veteran, sought a career that allowed her to work while caring for her child. In 1997, she started a family childcare home to avoid placing her daughter in daycare. Over time, she recognized the need for accessible training programs that support professionals in education, healthcare, and public safety. This realization led her to expand her services beyond childcare and establish a certified training center.

AGC offers various training programs tailored to individuals and businesses. One of its most attended courses is the defensive driving program, designed for both first-time drivers and those seeking to improve their road safety skills. Lee notes that 80% of her students return to refresh their knowledge, particularly as Augusta’s road conditions evolve due to recent hurricanes. She emphasizes that even experienced drivers develop habits that require periodic review to ensure safety.

Beyond driving instruction, AGC provides CPR and fire safety training, equipping individuals with critical emergency response skills. The center also offers childcare training for those pursuing careers in early childhood education. Each course meets state certification requirements, ensuring participants receive recognized credentials.

Lee plans to expand AGC’s offerings to reach more individuals and businesses in need of training. She remains committed to making safety education accessible to the Augusta community.
