In a heartfelt message, he acknowledged the grind that has shaped his journey, noting that his first song is now 15 years old, his debut mixtape is turning 13, and his first two albums, Supa Moon and Mayeday, mark their fifth anniversary this year.
Reflecting on his growth, Maye Star recalled advice from a close friend, who once told him he would “make it when [he] decides to.” Now, he says he’s fully committed to taking things to the next level.
“This next chapter is in God’s hands, but the power and ability is right here in MY hands,” he wrote. “I get emotional often when I think of this journey. I’m locked in something different.”
While he didn’t reveal specific details about upcoming projects, his message suggests a renewed focus and a major shift in his career. “Big things ahead. Pay attention and just show up with love,” he concluded.
