Lil Baby is kicking off 2025 with a bang, dropping his highly anticipated fourth studio album, WHAM (Who Hard as Me), just three days into the new year. The Grammy-winning rapper first confirmed the project’s release during his sold-out birthday concert in December, marking more than two years since his last album, It’s Only Me. Leading up to WHAM, Baby kept fans hyped with singles like “5 AM” and “Insecurities,” both co-produced by Wheezy.
WHAM boasts an impressive guest lineup, featuring appearances from Young Thug (who joins Future on the track “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber”), GloRilla, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Rylo Rodriguez, and Rod Wave.
Lil Baby has even more lined up for 2025. In an interview on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast last month, he revealed plans to drop another album titled Dominique before the year wraps. “At first, I was thinking of releasing a double album, but I decided to split it up,” Baby said. “Some of the songs I planned for Dominique ended up on WHAM because I knew my fans were really waiting on them.”
According to Baby, WHAM reflects the high-energy, flex-heavy lifestyle he’s known for think fast cars, flashy jewelry, and party vibes. Meanwhile, Dominique is set to show a different side of the rapper, offering a more introspective and personal vibe. “I don’t like using the word vulnerable, but I’m going to be more open with my fans,” he added.
With WHAM already in rotation and Dominique on the horizon, it looks like Lil Baby is aiming to connect with fans on a deeper level this year.
