Unreleased Air Jordan 23 x Slam Dunk Sample Surfaces.

An unreleased collaboration between Jordan Brand and Slam Dunk has been revealed. The Air Jordan 23 sample, shared on Instagram by @solesupreme, was reportedly a regional concept design from 2008-2009.

Unlike previous collaborations featuring character or team-themed palettes, this canceled design adopts a more unconventional style. The textured black upper is accented with colorful details, including multicolored embroidery featuring Kanji characters spelling Slam Dunk author Takehiko Inoue’s name. Michael Jordan’s signature appears on the decorative toe.

The midsole’s glossy turquoise finish adds bold contrast, while the insole depicts a male figure dribbling a basketball from a low-angle perspective.
