Beyonce Drops Festive Trailer For Christmas Day NFL Halftime Show.

Get ready, Beyonce fans, because she’s set to take the stage very soon. The iconic performer will headline the halftime show on Christmas Day, during the Houston Texans’ game against the Baltimore Ravens. Netflix announced in mid-November that Queen Bey would perform at NRG Stadium, where her hometown Texans will host the Ravens. The game is scheduled to stream on Netflix at 4:30 p.m. ET, marking the second of a Christmas Day doubleheader. Earlier in the day, the Kansas City Chiefs will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET.

This marks Netflix’s first venture into streaming an NFL game, following their attempt to stream the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight, which faced technical issues. With the NFL’s massive audience, all eyes will be on how well the streaming giant handles this major event. As for Beyonce, fans have been speculating about which songs from her extensive catalog she might perform. Those questions were partially answered with the release of a festive new teaser for the halftime show, shared by Billboard.

Beyonce Is Bringing Her Country Album To H-Town

At the start of the 30-second trailer, bells ring as the video fades in to reveal a cactus adorned with white ornaments. The camera pans upward to show Beyonce hanging a football-shaped ornament on the Texas-themed “Christmas tree.” The shot then rapidly zooms out to showcase the superstar’s outfit: an all-white ensemble featuring leather pants, a long, fuzzy coat, and an oversized cowboy hat.

The lights then shine bright as Beyonce fires imaginary bullets into the snowy night sky, blows out the smoke, and winks at the camera. She struts off, leaving behind a red title card that reads, “Halftime Show This Christmas Houston, TX.”

Given her attire in the trailer, there’s a strong likelihood that fans will hear a medley of tracks from her chart-topping album, COWBOY CARTER. The initial announcement hinted at this, featuring the opening cut, “AMERICAN REQUIEM.” With these clues in place, it’s time for Beyonce and NFL fans to saddle up—this halftime show promises to be a wild ride.
