In the wake of personal tragedy, rapper Teflonhoot also known as BoriRock, has transformed heartbreak into artistry with the release of his deeply personal new album, Housefire. The ten-track project, created over just two days, stands as both a testament to resilience and a powerful time capsule for an incredibly difficult moment in his life.
On Instagram, Teflonhoot shared the inspiration behind the album’s creation:
“After the tragic event that took place the other day, I decided to call @rsvpvino for insight on what to do moving forward. He suggested that I put my pain into the art. So we decided to make this very special album for the people. In the span of two days, we transformed this week’s tragedy into triumph. Grief into glory. A priceless time capsule for a very tough time in my life.”
The result is “Housefire”, a raw, unfiltered reflection of pain, perseverance, and triumph. The album features an impressive roster of producers, including CHNDLRWRD, WIARDON, LARON, SHAWN PENN, and HVYARMS. Executive production comes courtesy of DIVINO, with handpicked beats from the creative mastermind VGLITCH.
While “Housefire” is an artistic outlet for Teflonhoot’s grief, it’s also a way to give back to his most dedicated supporters. The project is being offered as a $100 exclusive release on Bandcamp, intended for what Teflonhoot calls his “most supreme patrons.”
Understanding that not everyone may be able to afford the rare release, Teflonhoot has also set up a GoFundMe (linked in his Instagram bio) and CashApp donation option at $HOOTLIFE to help during this challenging time. He adds, “Anything helps during this unfortunate time of need.”
While the album is not yet available on streaming platforms, Teflonhoot assures fans that “Housefire” will eventually make its way to broader audiences. Until then, he’s made it clear that this project is meant to be something deeply special for his core supporters.
“I look forward to eventually releasing ‘Housefire’ on streaming, but for now, this is strictly for the most supreme patrons of mine.”
As Teflonhoot continues to navigate grief, “Housefire” stands as a reminder of art’s transformative power—to take life’s heaviest moments and turn them into something beautiful.
The album is exclusively available now on Bandcamp. For more updates, follow Teflonhoot on Instagram.
