TikTok has partnered with K-Pop superstar Jin to launch The Happy Project, a multimedia campaign supporting his debut solo album Happy, released on November 15. The campaign features an interactive hub with exclusive content, a dance challenge with j-hope, and a livestream interview with Jin scheduled for November 19 at 9 PM KST / 12 PM GMT.
Fans can access The Happy Project by searching for “Jin” or “BTS” on TikTok. The hub includes missions that unlock limited-time profile frames and surprises, alongside exclusive videos like a dance challenge featuring the track Running Wild.
Jin expressed his excitement about the project, saying, “My album Happy was created in hopes of bringing happiness to as many people as possible. This album is filled with my honest reflections on what happiness means to me.”
This partnership continues TikTok’s tradition of collaborating with major artists. Recent campaigns have included an in-app hub for BTS’s Jimin, promotions for Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion, and interactive experiences for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour and Coldplay’s latest release.
TikTok highlights the growing popularity of K-Pop on its platform, with the genre dominating half of the most-viewed artists globally in 2023. BTS, one of TikTok’s top accounts, has over 66.9 million followers and 1.4 billion likes. The #kpop hashtag has amassed 662 billion video views, while #jin has generated 95 billion views across 13.2 million posts.
Fans are invited to explore the campaign and connect with Jin’s message of spreading happiness through his music.
