Ardean Miller, founder of Mah Melanin, has made history by establishing the first Black-owned gift-wrapping brand to partner with Hallmark Store and Lowe’s franchises nationwide. With a focus on cultural representation, Miller launched Mah Melanin to provide gift wrap that celebrates Black culture’s beauty and diversity.
“When I founded Mah Melanin, I wanted more than just beautiful gift wrap. I wanted a movement, where our stories are told, our beauty is celebrated, and our community is uplifted,” Miller shared. “Partnering with these iconic retailers shows the demand for products that resonate with our experiences.”
Under Miller’s leadership, Mah Melanin has expanded from a startup to a nationally recognized brand, endorsed by figures like Teddy Riley and Master P, and featured by organizations including the NBA and QVC’s “The Big Find.” Miller also mentors aspiring Black entrepreneurs, aiming to inspire the next generation to break barriers and achieve success.
