The Recording Academy has announced the 2025 GRAMMY nominees, stirring excitement in the music world, especially in hip-hop. Kendrick Lamar secured seven nominations, thanks in part to his series of diss tracks directed at Drake. Meanwhile, Beyoncé continues to set records, with 11 nominations, breaking her own record of 10 nominations in 2010, marking a milestone for female artists.

Other artists took to social media to celebrate their nominations. GloRilla, now a three-time GRAMMY nominee, shared her excitement on X (formerly Twitter), thanking her fans, team, and giving herself a shoutout: “S/O to God my team & y’all not to be cocky but shiiidddd S/O to MEEEE!! 3x Grammy nominated artist thank yall so much.”

Andre 3000 was also taken by surprise when his flute album, *New Blue Sun*, was nominated for Album of the Year. Speaking to Variety, the OutKast legend said, “I was really, really surprised because I didn’t think that that many people even knew about it… I’m just happy that the votes came in that way and that people were paying attention.”

Chris Brown, Rapsody, Run-DMC, and other nominees expressed their gratitude as well. With a competitive lineup for the 2025 GRAMMYs, fans are eager to see which artists will take home the most awards next year.
