Carhartt WIP has officially opened its flagship store in Bangkok, located at Central Embassy. Designed by renowned architect Andrea Caputo, the store embodies the brand’s rugged and utilitarian aesthetic, combining industrial-inspired elements with refined touches.
One of the store’s standout features is a long wall constructed from industrial tubes and joints, contributing to both the store’s raw aesthetic and functional design. At the center of the space, sturdy concrete display tables highlight Carhartt WIP’s focus on durability. To balance the industrial feel, a walnut unit adds warmth, while black Marquina marble introduces a touch of luxury, creating a sophisticated environment.
To mark the store’s opening, Carhartt WIP has released regionally exclusive T-shirts featuring a Thai vintage matchbox-inspired elephant design. Available in two colors, the white T-shirt showcases the graphic on the front, while the navy blue pocket tee features a larger version of the design on the back. These limited-edition items are available only for a short time, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The grand opening event on October 22 was followed by an afterparty at Siwilai Radical Club, featuring DJ performances by local artists. In addition to the exclusive launch merchandise, the store offers a wide range of apparel and accessories from Carhartt WIP’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, including items for women.
Carhartt WIP’s flagship store in Bangkok is located on Level 2 of Central Embassy, offering a unique shopping experience that reflects the brand’s commitment to both style and durability.
