Gucci Mane announces he’s releasing most artists from 1017 Eskimo Records, keeping only Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano.
Gucci Mane, also known as one of the “Greatest of All Trappers,” recently made a tough decision regarding his record label, 1017 Eskimo Records. In a video shared on social media, the rapper announced that he will release nearly all of his artists, except for Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano. Over the years, Gucci Mane has signed numerous up-and-coming talents, particularly from Atlanta. However, he expressed that the changing music industry and his current profit and loss evaluation have led him to make this decision.
In the clip, Gucci Mane stated, “I’ve been reviewing my P&L with all of my artists, and there’s been a lot of shake-ups in the industry. I think I have to release almost all of them, except for Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano. I didn’t want to make this decision, but it feels like the right move. Let them take their talents elsewhere.”
Despite this major change, Gucci Mane expressed that he is still open to signing new talent to work with Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano, and he wishes the best for the artists he is releasing. This announcement marks the end of an era for 1017 Eskimo, but it’s clear that Gucci Mane remains focused on the future.
Meanwhile, Gucci Mane is also facing personal challenges, with rumors of relationship drama involving his wife, Keyshia Ka’oir, and accusations made by Tia Kemp about Rick Ross.
