Tyler, The Creator Teases New Album Chromakopia Dropping October 28 With Striking Cover Art.

Tyler, The Creator has teased the release of his upcoming album, Chromakopia, which is set to drop on October 28. The Grammy-winning artist made the announcement on Instagram, revealing the album’s striking cover art featuring him in a black mask and military suit, set against a sepia-toned background. Interestingly, the album will be released on a Monday, deviating from the typical Friday industry release.

Tyler confirmed that Chromakopia is entirely written, produced, and arranged by him, following in the footsteps of his 2019 album IGOR. Pre-orders for physical copies and merchandise bundles are available on the album’s official website.

Excitement for the project has already surged, with praise from industry figures like Swizz Beatz, who hailed it as an instant classic, and MixedByAli, who added his anticipation with fire emojis.

Although the tracklist hasn’t been revealed, Tyler gave fans a preview by releasing “St. Chroma” alongside a military-themed video. The teaser track features a whispery flow from Tyler and guest vocals from Daniel Caesar, culminating in a soulful crescendo.

The release of Chromakopia will arrive just in time for Tyler’s 2024 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on November 16 and 17, where fans could witness the album’s live debut.
