Snoop Dogg And Dr. Dre Introduce Still G.I.N. Spirits Inspired By "Still D.R.E.".

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are making a notable return to the spirits industry with the launch of Still G.I.N., inspired by their 2001 hit “Still D.R.E.” The spirit officially launched nationwide at select retailers on Tuesday (October 15). Still G.I.N. features a “refined botanical blend that’s modern yet elegant, bursting with notes of tangerine, jasmine, and coriander for an unforgettable aromatic finish,” according to a press release.

“This is not a liquor that we’re just putting our name on,” Dr. Dre stated. “It’s just like we did with Beats headphones. Everything is us from the ground up: the gin, the flavor, the packaging. Everything had to be perfect. Snoop said it best: We’re better together – it’s always magical. It’s incredible to know that you’ve got something amazing that you feel is gonna really work. From the look to the taste, it’s all there.”

The honeycomb-shaped 750mL bottle of Still G.I.N. is available for purchase on TotalWine’s website for $59.99.

“Every day in the studio when Dre and I were trying to make the dopest music, we were drinking gin and just having fun,” Snoop Dogg added. “We’ve been a part of the evolution of this gin – from the creation of the flavor to the percentage of alcohol that’s in it – and it’s just so good! Dre’s a perfectionist: He wants to make sure it’s not just good, but great. Together, we ain’t gonna do nothing regular.”

This marks Snoop and Dre’s second venture into the spirits industry, following the introduction of Gin & Juice cocktails earlier this year.

The original “Still D.R.E.” hit the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 91 in 1999, and re-entered the chart to peak at No. 23 in 2022. Additionally, new music is on the way from Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, who are collaborating on their first full-length project since 1993’s Doggystyle. The sequel to Snoop’s debut album is titled Missionary and is set for release in November.
