Kendrick Lamar has hit another career milestone with his 2017 hit “Humble,” which has now surpassed one billion views on YouTube. This marks the rapper’s second video to reach the billion-view milestone, following his collaboration with Travis Scott on “Goosebumps” in September.
“Humble” was Lamar’s second No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, following his feature on Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood (Remix)” in 2015. The song spent 37 weeks on the chart and appeared on his Billboard 200 No. 1 album Damn.
Lamar’s 2024 success has also been notable, thanks to his hit “Not Like Us,” which broke the record for most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart, staying at the top for 21 weeks. The track also dominated the Rap Streaming Songs chart, with 17.1 million streams in the latest tracking week.
Lamar’s dominance this year was further fueled by a highly publicized lyrical feud with Drake. He released several diss tracks, including “Euphoria,” “Meet the Grahams,” and “Not Like Us,” which became the most successful, reaching No. 1 on the Hot 100. As a result of his continued success, Lamar will headline the NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans next year.
With both “Humble” and “Goosebumps” surpassing one billion views, Kendrick Lamar continues to solidify his position as one of the most influential artists in the music industry.
