Drake Confirms His Joint Album With Partynextdoor Will Drop This Fall.

Drake has had a noteworthy 2024, marked by his ongoing rivalry with Kendrick Lamar and a shift in his influence over pop culture. While he’s released several songs this year, not all have been hits. Recently, he dropped the video for “Wah Gwan Delilah,” one of his most unusual tracks. Fans are eagerly waiting for him to bounce back with a full album, and it seems one might be coming soon.

On September 30, the Instagram account Rap Direct shared a photo of Drake and Partynextdoor, reminding fans that the long-awaited collaboration album between the two OVO artists is expected to drop this year. Although neither Drake nor Partynextdoor have spoken about the album recently, Drake’s subtle confirmation came when he liked the post, signaling that the joint project could be released this fall.

Drake first mentioned the collab album in August after his battle with Kendrick Lamar. He teased fans during a Partynextdoor show, saying, “Once summer’s over… when it gets a little chilly, a Partynextdoor and Drake album will be right there for you.”

Partynextdoor confirmed the album’s existence a week later, but he didn’t reveal much about the content. When asked about his favorite song, he avoided a specific answer but did confirm there will be 15 tracks. Partynextdoor’s last album, Partynextdoor 4, came out in April, and Drake was quick to show his support on Instagram, saying he had played it “100000 times” before its release.

Fans are now counting down to the fall, waiting for the official release of this highly anticipated project.
