Cardi B has been a longtime fan of wrestling but hasn’t yet entered the ring. That might change when WWE’s SummerSlam arrives in New Jersey next year. WWE tapped her to help announce that the 2025 SummerSlam will be held at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium for the first-ever two-night event on August 2 and 3, 2025.
In a promotional clip, Cardi appears with WWE star Bianca Belair, with Cardi’s Hot 100 hit “Enough” as the background music. On Instagram, Cardi teased the event, writing, “Here’s to the Streets.. and to my girl @BiancaBelairWWE! SummerSlam. 2 Nights. MetLife Stadium. August 2nd and 3rd.”
In the video, Cardi, while in a glam room, calls Bianca Belair to share the exciting news, saying, “I got two words for you: SummerSlam. MetLife.” Bianca humorously responds, “I’m pretty sure that’s one word.” Cardi follows up with “Two nights.”
Fans have started speculating that Cardi could be involved in a match and that her highly anticipated second album might be released before SummerSlam. USA Network even commented on her post, encouraging her to perform a wrestling move, while a fan suggested her finishing move be called “Ms. DANGEROUS.”
Although Cardi has never appeared in a WWE show, her name has been mentioned in the wrestling world before. In 2021, WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson gave her a shout-out during RAW, and wrestling legend Trish Stratus endorsed Cardi on social media. Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez even expressed interest in facing Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion in a match.
