Fans of Philly-native Lil Uzi Vert have issued an update on the arrival of the much anticipated Pink Tape, who is expected to release a new album soon.
Although a December release date was rumored, Uzi stated in an Instagram group chat that the project would launch the following month and would not contain any “mid” stuff.
“That’s why I’m dropping February,” they declared in a screenshot of the chat that surfaced online. “New sh*t, new sound, no mid.”
Since Lil Uzi’s last album, Eternal Atake, was released in March of 2020, it has been a long journey.
“Just Wanna Rock,” Uzi’s most recent single, hit another sales threshold last month when it passed one million units in the United States, qualifying it for platinum certification after less than three months.
