Megan Thee Stallion Loses 30 Million Spotify Streams Amid Bot Allegations.

Late last month, Megan Thee Stallion finally released her highly anticipated new album, “Megan.” The Texas-born performer’s latest work has been well-received by her fans, featuring collaborations with GloRilla and Victoria Monét. However, No Jumper recently reported that Spotify removed 30 million streams from the album, allegedly due to “bot-like” activity. The exact reason for the removal has not been confirmed.

The news has sparked mixed reactions on social media. While many fans are defending Megan, believing she had no involvement in the alleged botting, others recall her own lyrics about using bots instead of having real fans. Notably, supporters of Nicki Minaj and Tory Lanez have been particularly critical.

At present, Megan has not addressed the botting allegations. She appears unfazed, as she recently promoted the European leg of her “Hot Girl Summer” tour with Ms Banks on Instagram. Additionally, she has been hinting at non-music projects, including an upcoming twerk workout video and her own tequila brand, which she previewed in May and claimed would be released “soon.”

Megan also recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, celebrated her new album with a star-studded release party, and more.
