Nottz and Bink! have stated that they will be the main attraction in a head-to-head beat war with an undercard of other reputable beatsmiths.
Nottz announced the news on Tuesday (December 20) and shared a flier showing the fight with Bink as well as two more fights between Stro Elliot and Tall Black Guy and 14KT and Teeko.
The Gene Brown Beatdown, an event by that name, is slated for January 7, 2023, at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Booth Playhouse.

Nottz and Bink! established themselves as two of Norfolk, Virginia’s most renowned producers. For various artists on Roc-A-Fella Records, notably JAY-Z, for whom he produced three songs on The Blueprint (The Ruler’s Back, “All I Need,” and “Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)), Bink! has produced some of his most renowned music.
With the single “You Only Live Twice,” Bink! most recently contributed to Drake’s Certified Lover Boy. And, also made many appearances on AZ’s Doe Or Die II and Anthony Hamilton’s Love Is The New Black, both of which were released in 2021.
