NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas Celebrate 20 Years of Collaboration with a Monochromatic ‘Cement Gray’ Superstar Release.

Shinsuke Takizawa’s brand NEIGHBORHOOD has enjoyed a long-term partnership with adidas, resulting in numerous sneaker collaborations over the past two decades. Last year, they released two distinctive versions of the NMD S1 and are now gearing up to revisit the Superstar in 2024, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of their first collaboration, which also featured this silhouette.

The new NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas Superstar collaboration is presented in a monochromatic “Cement Gray,” with the hue covering the entire sneaker except for the white co-branding elements. These include a co-branded tongue tag, “NEIGHBORHOOD” text above the lateral Three Stripes, “Craft With Pride” text at the heel, and the Japanese brand’s logo on the lateral heel. Additionally, a special gray dubrae matches the “TOKYO” text at the midsole’s heel, complemented by a lightning bolt design extending from the midsole heel to the midfoot.

Currently, neither NEIGHBORHOOD nor adidas have announced the release date for their “Cement Gray” Superstar collaboration. However, Takizawa hinted in an Instagram post that it would be available “soon.” Stay tuned for further updates, as it is expected to be launched through adidas, NEIGHBORHOOD, and selected global retailers later this year.
