DJ Khaled has officially announced that 21 Savage will be one of the featured artists on his highly anticipated upcoming studio album, titled Til Next Time. This revelation came to light on March 13, when DJ Khaled shared a series of captivating photos showcasing him and the talented London-born rapper working together in the recording studio.
Expressing his gratitude and admiration for 21 Savage, DJ Khaled captioned the images with heartfelt words: “Win with us or watch us win. Everyone has a choice… [21 Savage] always shows me love. Grateful for you blessing my album. Grateful for our friendship.” These sentiments highlight the strong bond and mutual respect between the two artists as they collaborate on this exciting musical project.
DJ Khaled also took to social media to express his enthusiasm and anticipation for the upcoming collaboration with 21 Savage. He humorously shared how while many people use their pillows for sleeping and end up drooling on them, he utilizes his pillow as a makeshift desk to support his computer while immersing himself in the greatness of the music they create together. This playful yet dedicated approach underscores the passion and commitment that DJ Khaled brings to his craft.
The collaboration between DJ Khaled and 21 Savage is not a new venture, as they have previously joined forces on several hit tracks such as “Wish Wish” featuring Cardi B, “WAY PAST LUCK,” “LET IT GO” featuring Justin Bieber, and “KEEP GOING” alongside Lil Durk and Roddy Ricch. Their past successes have set high expectations for their upcoming musical endeavor on Til Next Time.
While “SUPPOSED TO BE LOVED” featuring Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future has been confirmed as one of the songs on Til Next Time, DJ Khaled has also revealed that Drake will make two guest appearances on the album, as revealed in September 2023.
Khaled introduced the album in August of the same year with an elaborate trailer, emphasizing the theme of striving for success through hard work and dedication, even at the risk of one’s own life.
His previous album, GOD DID, released in 2022, featured collaborations with artists such as JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Takeoff, SZA, Nardo Wick, City Girls, Juice WRLD, Gunna, Kanye West, and Eminem, with standout tracks like “GOD DID,” “STAYING ALIVE,” and “BEAUTIFUL”.
