Cam'ron Revisits Humble 'It Is What It Is' Origins After Major Deal: 'I Believed In Myself'

In order to reflect on how far he and Ma$e have gone with their sports debate show It Is What It Is, Cam’ron has traveled down memory lane.

The Dipset member published a video to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (August 22) showing himself passing over large amounts of cash to a cashier in order to pay for the necessary equipment to produce the series.

Cam’ron captioned the video, writing, “Jan 22 2023 buying some of the equipment for @itiswhatitis_talk.” “It was just a thought, but I was convinced.”

A later video shows the cashier counting out the cash stacks to make sure it’s all there. Investment @itiswhatitis_talk Jan 22 2023 I had confidence in myself, Cam said.

Cam’ron’s posts were made not long after he and Ma$e agreed to a large, eight-figure contract to move their popular chat show to a new location.

On Monday (August 21), the two prominent Harlem rappers said that they had reached an arrangement with the online sports betting service Underdog Fantasy.

Just in time for football season, the relationship will start in September and last for a total of 18 months. Fans can continue to watch talk show on Come and Talk 2 Me YouTube page, which is its current home.

Cam issued a statement saying, “Thank you Nick [Nicholas Green of Underdog Fantasy]. “We appreciate you understanding It Is What It Is’ true worth,”

“Yo @rsvpmase,” he said of the agreement on Instagram. We are now on equal footing. Here we go once more. Pause for a giggle. Thank you for everything, joking aside. Let’s go kill these n-ggas right away! @itiswhatitis_talk LARGE HARLEM! THE LARGEST! PAWS I also want to thank @underdogfantasy.

When the Dipset rapper first entered the music industry in the 1990s, Ma$e connected him to Biggie, which resulted in Killa signing a deal with Untertainment and Epic Records. Cam made reference to how he and Ma$e are “even now” in this statement.

Since they previously collaborated with retired NBA player Gilbert Arenas for his provocative Gil’s Arena podcast, Underdog Fantasy is no stranger to courting controversy.
