50 Cent's Roku Channel Hits Top 5%, Expands to Shreveport.

On Wednesday (April 2), the rapper and mogul shared that his 50 Cent Action Channel has become one of Roku’s most-watched FAST channels, a category of free, ad-supported streaming platforms.

“My @50centaction channel ranked in the top 5% out of more than 500 channels on Roku,” he posted on Instagram. “I got more coming for you today, bringing this channel everywhere, stay tuned!”

The channel, which launched in December, highlights 50’s personal picks from Lionsgate’s film and TV catalog. It includes over a dozen movies he’s appeared in, plus his hit STARZ series Power.

But 50’s media reach isn’t stopping there. He’s also expanding into live events and community spaces with a new venue in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Already leasing a production studio in the city, 50 Cent recently received approval from the Shreveport City Council to take over the Stageworks building. He plans to convert the space into a sports and entertainment venue.

The updated facility will host basketball, volleyball, boxing, MMA, concerts, car shows, and conventions. G-Unit Films & Television secured a 30-year lease for the site, paying $200 per month, with the option to extend for another 15 years. The company will cover all maintenance and operations.

Speaking at the council meeting, 50 said: “I’ve come to like the people of Shreveport in a different way. It feels like home for me, and eventually it’ll be home because I have some work to do.”

He added: “When we were here for Humor & Harmony, it was filled to capacity. I have programs and plans for the facilities, so you’ll be able to look at the things that are happening throughout the year, and it’ll be actively used in a different way.”

The new space is part of 50 Cent’s growing presence in entertainment, both on and off screen.
