50 Cent's 'Power Book II: Ghost' Has Been Renewed For A Fourth Season

50 Cent’s Power Book II: Ghost, a well-liked spinoff series, has been given a formal fourth season order.

Prior to the third season’s March 17 premiere, STARZ revealed the renewal on Monday, January 30. Additionally, the platform said that Michael Ealy would join the cast as a series regular in season four, which is currently filming in New York.

Ealy will portray Detective Don Carter, an NYPD cop who was slated to become Police Commissioner until his wife was killed by narcotics gangs. Detective Carter was killed. Carter is the head of the NYPD’s narcotics task team and has pledged to make the streets safer.

“Power Book II: Ghost continues to resonate with our viewers and we’re thrilled to get season four production underway ahead of our season three debut,” said Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for Starz. “It’s clear our fans are ready to devour more of this explosive series and we look forward to having Michael join our incredible cast.”

Last December, the popular STARZ series received a third season renewal, which was revealed by Jeffrey Hirsch, the CEO of the company, in a complimentary statement.
