50 Cent is looking to reunite with longtime collaborator Eminem for a new creative chapter, this time on the big screen. The rapper and entertainment mogul recently revealed that he wants Eminem to contribute new music to the upcoming Street Fighter movie soundtrack, in which 50 Cent is set to portray the iconic boxer Balrog.
Over the weekend, 50 floated the idea publicly on Instagram, teasing the potential collaboration. “I’m gonna get @eminem on deck to make some music for this movie Street Fighter,” he wrote. “New music on the way!”
While there has been no official confirmation that Eminem is attached to the project, the suggestion carries weight given the duo’s long history of collaborations and their shared roots under Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment. From early 2000s chart-toppers to soundtrack staples, 50 Cent and Eminem have consistently delivered high-impact records together. As anticipation builds around the Street Fighter film, the possibility of new Eminem music tied to the franchise adds another layer of excitement, especially for longtime fans of both artists who have been waiting to hear them collaborate again.
