50 Cent is set to debut his own FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channel, the 50 Cent Action Channel, on Roku on December 10. The project is a collaboration between his G-Unit Film & Television and Lionsgate. The channel will feature a selection of 50’s favorite movies and shows from the Lionsgate library, including over a dozen films he has starred in, as well as episodes of his popular STARZ series Power.
The channel will also include themed programming based on 50 Cent’s music. For example, a heist-themed lineup will be tied to his 2003 album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, and another block inspired by the 2008 G-Unit single “I Like The Way She Do It” will focus on female-led action content.
Jennifer Vaux, Roku’s Vice President of Content Acquisition and Programming, shared her excitement about the collaboration, highlighting 50 Cent’s influence in the entertainment world. She described the channel as an innovative way to showcase Lionsgate’s library of action programming alongside behind-the-scenes content from 50 Cent.
In addition to the FAST channel, 50 Cent recently hinted at the opening of a physical location for Kiss Café, Jadakiss’ coffee brand, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Shreveport is also home to 50’s G-Unit Film & TV Studios. While Jadakiss noted the plans aren’t fully finalized, 50 has expressed enthusiasm about bringing the coffee shop to the area as part of his expanding ventures.
For now, Kiss Café’s coffee and merchandise are available online and at select locations, with hopes of opening a store in the future. The potential collaboration with Jadakiss reflects 50 Cent’s ongoing efforts to grow his business footprint in Shreveport and beyond.
