50 Cent has always been about his money, and he’s expanded his collection of exotic cars by purchasing a unique, “one-of-a-kind” vehicle.
The White Lightning Jet Car, developed from scratch by the Parker Brothers and inspired by Formula 1, was purchased by 50 (a.k.a. Ferrari), claims SuperCarBlondie, for a whopping $1.5 million.
According to reports, the sports car has more than 400 horsepower and is capable of traveling 250 MPH on the open road.
50 has a long history of lending his collection of hot rods to DJ Envy’s car exhibitions, and this weekend, he’ll be sending out more for the radio personality’s Memphis car show.
Although he has toned down when it comes to extravagant gifts, 50 acknowledged in February that he was a little crazy earlier in his career.
He told Ari Melber, “The stuff that people see that I’ve learnt, it kinda kept me out of trouble at times. To be honest, Ari, I was crazy when I first started singing those lyrics in the music. I was at that time completely insane.
On his August Final Lap Tour, 50 might be able to arrive at Barclays Center in the $1.5 million White Lightning Jet Car.
The Final Lap Tour, which marks the 20th anniversary of 50 Cent’s chart-topping debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, begins in Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 21 and travels across North America until September 22. Stops on the tour will be made in Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, and 50’s hometown of New York City.
After that, on September 28, the European leg kicks off, featuring performances in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, before wrapping up on November 18. For the North American gigs, Busta Rhymes and Jeremih will travel with Fif.
Earlier this week, 50 took some time to interact with his followers on Instagram Live. He shared that he had sold more than 500,000 tickets in only seven days and made a suggestion that this tour might be his last.
The U.K., North America, and maybe Australia will be included because ticket sales are going so well, according to 50. “I have to travel to Africa. Due to the fact that this is the Final Lap Tour, I still have a lot of stops to make before I finish.
“I’m not going to continue running around like this. I need to concentrate on a lot of other projects behind the scenes in addition to my film and television work, so I won’t be touring as frequently as I have been. This time, I’m enjoying myself because there is no pressure and everything is set up for that.
