For his fellow rap peers who might have forgotten how powerful he and Eminem were in their musical heyday throughout the 2000s, 50 Cent has released a nice reminder.
On Thursday, July 13, the rapper-turned-television mogul posted two images to Instagram that featured the Top 10 rap albums from the 2000s with the highest first-week sales and the most streamed rap albums.
The cover art for Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP, The Eminem Show, and Encore as well as 50 Cent’s The Massacre and Get Rich or Die Tryin’ were shown in the first image of the albums with the highest first-week sales. Kanye West, Drake, and Lil Wayne all had albums featured.
The Eminem albums The Eminem Show, The Marshall Mathers LP, Encore, and Relapse were among the most streamed rap albums of the 2000s, which were mentioned in the second image. The soundtrack to 8 Mile was also mentioned. The 50 Cent albums featured in this image were Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and The Massacre.
Fif made sure to mention that, throughout his career, he has outsold most of his rivals and that only his friend and mentor Eminem has sold more records than he has. The amusing part, he said, “is that only @eminem sold more than me.” I made the n-ggas feel so bad that they don’t want to remember it, LOL.

No matter how strongly he feels about someone or how intimately he has worked with them, 50 Cent is never one to hold back when speaking his mind.
The G-Unit entrepreneur mocked Redman’s exclusion from Season 3 of Power Book II: Ghost earlier this month on Instagram, letting his sense of humor run wild.
Redman discussed his noticeable absence from the popular TV show this season in an interview that Fif republished.
“I walked away from Power,” he said. After the second episode, I left Power because I didn’t agree with everyone on the show having to take a jab. I’m expressing that, to be clear. You must maintain your composure.
“Like, would Power have changed the course of my life? Yes. Money was well spent. It’s a popular program that might have boosted my career. But is appearing on the show more important than my health? “Fuck no!”
“My health is more important to me,” he continued. And I was forced to decide. With this Third World Order garbage, I was either going to sacrifice myself, or I would simply leave.
Being the savvy businessman that he is, 50 Cent lost no time in letting people know that he is immunized and not missing out on the bag in addition to boasting about his TV program.
He remarked, “He’s not lying, he left the top show in African American and Latino households right away [walk away emoji].” “SMH, squinting eyes and smiling emoji, I took the shot, fuck that. LOL.”
