50 Cent Producing New Crime Drama Moses the Black Starring Wiz Khalifa & Quavo

50 Cent is expanding his growing film portfolio as a producer on Moses the Black, a new crime drama set to arrive in U.S. theaters on Jan. 30, 2026. The project features rappers Wiz Khalifa and Quavo in major roles, marking another music-to-film crossover for both artists.

The cast also includes Omar Epps, Chukwudi Iwuji, Detroit rapper Skilla Baby, and former heavyweight boxing champion Deontay Wilder. According to Deadline, Wiz and Quavo will executive produce as well as contribute original music to the film’s soundtrack.

Set in present-day Chicago, the story follows Malik, a gang leader navigating conflict and survival. Wiz Khalifa plays 2wo-3ree, an intense figure within Malik’s crew, while Quavo takes on the role of Malik’s rival. The film explores themes of redemption and transformation, which 50 Cent highlighted in a statement, calling the story “raw, emotional, and powerful.”

Moses the Black is produced in partnership with Fathom Entertainment, Simeon Faith, and the Nick Mirkopoulos Cinematic Fund. Fathom CEO Ray Nutt described the movie as an action-driven drama built for the theatrical experience.

Wiz Khalifa and Quavo’s acting resumes continue to grow, with Wiz previously portraying George Clinton in Spinning Gold, and Quavo adding roles in Praise This, Cash Out, The Waterboyz, and High Rollers alongside John Travolta.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent remains active on the film front as well, including his upcoming role as Balrog in the Street Fighter reboot.
