50 Cent Celebrates 15 New Platinum Plaques While Flexing Hit Making Prowess

Following his receipt of 15 additional platinum awards from the Recording Industry Association of America, 50 Cent has served as a reminder to his rivals of his ability to produce hits.

The leader of G-Unit posted on Instagram last week to celebrate the newest plaques that have been added to his collection. In the article, 50 asked fans what may have happened if he had kept some of the songs he gave away after receiving new certifications—15 platinum and six gold plaques, respectively.

“Can you imagine if I kept all my hits for myself,” 50 wrote in his caption.

According to 50’s post, “I Get Money,” “Patiently Waiting” with Eminem, “Best Friend,” “Outta Control,” “Hate It Or Love It,” and “Window Shopper” were the songs that were given their first platinum certification.

“In Da Club,” “Just A Lil’ Bit,” “Disco Inferno,” “Many Men (Wish Death),” “P.I.M.P.,” “Candy Shop,” and more songs added to their multi-platinum certifications. On the list for reaching four-times platinum was 50’s collaboration with the late Nate Dogg, “21 Questions,” from his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’.

50 Cent claimed on Big Boy’s Neighborhood that Dr. Dre didn’t think “21 Questions” belonged on his critically acclaimed 2003 first album. However, the song was included on the tracklist because of 50’s insight.
