Grammys 2024 witnessed a remarkable triumph for Killer Mike, who secured victories in three categories – Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. These accolades were all attributed to his 2023 album, MICHAEL.
At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, Killer Mike had an outstanding night, clinching the titles for Best Rap Album with “MICHAEL,” Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance for “Scientists & Engineers,” featuring André 3000, Future, and Eryn Allen Kane.
Competing in the Best Rap Album category were other nominees Metro Boomin (“HEROES & VILLAINS”), Nas (“King’s Disease III”), Travis Scott (“Utopia”), and Drake & 21 Savage (“Her Loss”). The Best Rap Song category included contenders such as Doja Cat (“Attention”), Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice (“Barbie World” feat. Aqua), and Drake & 21 Savage (“Rich Flex”). In the Best Rap Performance category, Killer Mike faced competition from Baby Keem (“The Hillbillies” feat. Kendrick Lamar), Black Thought (“Love Letter”), Coi Leray, and Drake & 21 Savage (“Rich Flex”).
