2 Chainz is preparing to release a memoir that will document his spiritual journey. Titled The Voice In Your Head Is God, the book traces his rise from Tity Boi to a leading figure in rap and explains how his faith shaped his path. Scheduled for release in March 2026, it promises to give readers insight into the role belief and persistence have played in his career.
“I want to share the spiritual journey behind my success in a raw, uncut and motivational way,” 2 Chainz said in a statement. He added that the memoir is intended to help anyone pursuing a vision who faces doubts, stressing that he would not be where he is today without listening to that guiding voice.
The project will be published through Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Privilege Publishing, an imprint of Atria. Charlamagne described the story as one of perseverance and reinvention, highlighting how the book underscores the importance of following divine direction even when it requires transformation.
A press release noted that the book is more than a memoir, framing it as a reflection on trusting intuition and listening to inner guidance.
Alongside the announcement, 2 Chainz recalled his studio experience with Eminem during an appearance on Club Shay Shay. While working on songs like “Chloraseptic” and “Kyrie & Luka,” he revealed that Eminem’s team banned smoking in the studio. Despite the rules, Eminem himself was unfazed, a moment that left a lasting impression on the Atlanta rapper.
