Twelve-year-old Zoe Oli, the founder and CEO of Beautiful Curly Me, is making waves with her Black-owned toy and media company by launching a new line of plush dolls at Target stores nationwide and on Target.com. This achievement makes Zoe the youngest CEO to introduce a toy brand at Target.

From Dream To Shelf

Studies reveal that 7 out of 10 girls struggle with self-esteem. After experiencing these challenges herself at age six, Zoe noticed a lack of dolls that represented her natural curls and braids. With her mom Evana’s support, Zoe created Beautiful Curly Me to celebrate diversity and empower girls. The brand features Black dolls, inspiring books written by Zoe, STEAM puzzles, and a girl’s empowerment club, all aimed at fostering confidence in young Black and brown girls.

More Than Toys: A Movement

Beautiful Curly Me is more than just toys; it’s a heartfelt movement. For every doll sold, another is donated to an underserved girl. The mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of confident girl leaders.

Plush Power At Target

Beautiful Curly Me’s new line of fashion plush dolls, called The Curly and Confident Crew, is now available at Target. These 14-inch huggable dolls have naturally curly hair that can be styled and encourage girls to celebrate their unique gifts. The dolls promote various passions, from entrepreneurship to STEM and dance.

Young Ceo Making A Big Impact

Zoe’s inspiring journey started when she founded her company at age seven. She has been featured on platforms like Good Morning America, Forbes, and The Kelly Clarkson Show. As a social entrepreneur, Zoe has donated thousands of dolls to underserved girls through her Gift-A-Doll program.

Zoe is also the youngest Black TEDx speaker and has been a finalist for Time and Nickelodeon’s Kid of The Year. She co-founded Youth Mean Business, an accelerator for youth entrepreneurs, providing coaching, community, and capital to scale their businesses.
