Snoop Dogg Teases New Album Missionary With Dr. Dre And Hints At 2024 Tour.

Snoop Dogg has been teasing his upcoming album Missionary, produced by Dr. Dre, marking their first full project together since Doggystyle. In a recent interview with Forbes (September 29), Snoop mentioned that music remains central to his identity, stating, “Music is my foundation. That’s the root of who I am, so I can never run away from that.”

There are also hints of a possible tour in 2024, although details remain unconfirmed.

A release date for Missionary hasn’t been set, but Dre mentioned this summer that they were aiming for a November launch to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Doggystyle. Dre revealed that he is working on mixing the album, with 11 songs completed so far, and aims to deliver the final version soon. While Dre has produced the entire album, he said he may only appear vocally on one track.

Additionally, Dre revealed that Sting is featured on one of the tracks, and the album will include a star-studded roster of guest artists.

Snoop Dogg first announced Missionary in 2022 during an interview on Stephen A. Smith’s Know Mercy podcast, where he shared that the project is meant to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his iconic debut album.
