Loro Piana Celebrates A Century Of Heritage With A Linen-Focused Spring/Summer 2025 Collection.

This year, Loro Piana has been celebrating its century-long history by modernizing its classic designs, material combinations, and craftsmanship in various collections. As the brand continues to focus on its heritage, it presents a luxurious and textured Spring/Summer 2025 collection, with linen taking center stage.

Linen, a seasonal staple for Loro Piana, has played a key role in establishing the brand’s reputation for fine fabrics. Since acquiring the heritage textile house Solbiati a decade ago, Loro Piana has continued to innovate by exploring new ways to manipulate and reinvent linen for contemporary wardrobes. In this season’s collection, linen is blended with other traditional fibers to create garments with added texture and complexity.

The collection’s standout piece is the Spagna jacket, featuring a heavy, tweed-like weave that enhances its collarless design. When paired with the coordinating linen overcoat, trousers, and chambray shirt, the brown tones soften the tailored lines, offering versatility for different occasions. The collection also includes a knitted blazer and a variety of cardigans made from a unique cashmere-linen blend.

In addition to the neutral tones, Loro Piana introduces bold pops of yellow and red in suede bombers and a nautical-inspired anorak, adding vibrancy and depth. A summer denim look, featuring Bermuda shorts and a workwear-inspired shirt, also makes an appearance in the sleek collection.

To complement the clothing, Loro Piana offers a range of accessories, including felt fedoras, knitted beanies, and linen bags, which allow for both casual and refined styling. The collection is completed with leather sandals, loafers, and lace-ups, adding a touch of elegance.

Loro Piana is showcasing its SS25 collection during Milan Fashion Week at Palazzo Belgioioso, with a special installation called “All About Linen.” The exhibit features garments displayed in a linen-covered room with large tapestries and artwork by Adriana Meunié, alongside a display of the world’s finest linen blend: Nm110. Fans can also visit the brand’s returning Via Dei Giardini newsstand, offering gifts and treats inspired by this season’s focus on linen.
