Dorchester’s Own Brandie Blaze Dishes on Acting, Rapping, and Her Legacy in Boston Rap.

This episode of CWTFB Radio welcomes powerhouse femcee Brandie Blaze, following the review of her latest project, ‘Susan Lucci’, which sparked some mixed reactions on the podcast. Charlie Masheen, Kash, and Bellez sit down with Blaze to dive into her latest work, her role in the recent play ‘Hoops’, her new cannabis strain “Blaze Berry,” and her thoughts on the wild “Freak-offs” happening in Boston.

In addition to the interview, the hosts reviewed two music projects: Billy Escobar’s ‘You Don’t Even Believe the Jesus Piece’ (3.9/5) and Nali’s debut EP ‘Good for You’ (4.8/5). Nali’s project received particular praise, especially considering it’s her first release.

Brandie Blaze also gave insight into her journey as a rapper, actress, composer, and writer from Dorchester, revealing her deep family ties in the Boston rap scene. She discussed her recent performance at the Strand Theater in ‘Hoops’, where she not only acted but also composed original music. She further teased a new release coming in November, solidifying her multi-talented presence in both music and theater. Of course, no episode would be complete without a RedCupsAndRap freestyle, which Blaze delivered right off the dome!
